In pursuit of the peak. — Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, 2011.
NIKUAZABU began in Nishi-Azabu — a Tokyo neighborhood defined by its high-end yakiniku restaurants — with a simple wish: to make truly great yakiniku more approachable.
Yakiniku holds a special place in Japanese food culture.
So we don't just serve good meat. We think carefully about how each cut is sliced, seasoned, and served — and in what order — so that every plate is at its best.
From the very beginning, we've built our menu around courses. It's the format that lets us layer flavor from the first plate to the last.
What we're chasing isn't luxury for its own sake, or the cheapest price on the block —
but yakiniku that quietly exceeds expectations, night after night.
We'll keep honoring Japan's yakiniku tradition, and keep pushing to redefine what it can be.
In pursuit of the peak.
